Communi-Pak was founded in 1983 by Bob Downing to service retail packaging distributors in the Southeast region of the United States. Bob represented manufacturers from tissue mills to imported and domestic paper/plastic bag factories offering great products, low prices, and excellent service.
In 1998 Bob’s son, Ted Downing joined Communi-Pak and created the import division. Then, in 2004, Tammy Downing (Ted’s wife) joined the company.
Today we work with expert retail packaging distributors from coast to coast.
Our specialty is printed bags and boxes, along with printed/unprinted tissue that compliments our products. With over 60 factory inspection trips to Asia and more than 20 years working with many of the same suppliers in Asia (5 countries), we have established ourselves as a leading importer catering to retail packaging distributors.
